My journey with cancer started in the fall of 2006.

I was found to have Non-Hodgkin's Follicular Lymphoma; stage 4. It was in my chest, small intestines, abdomen, spine, skull and in my bone marrow.

I obtained treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas and participated in a clinical trial for this type of cancer.

My treatment consisted of 6 rounds of chemo and at the completion of the treatments, was found to be in remission. God is good! Even if I wasn't in remission, God would still be good. But, now I have the opportunity to help others on their journey.

Better Days Designs is based on scripture, Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Hope and a future are what cancer patients need. I believe God is the Great Designer that gives us hope and provides better days.

When several of my friends were diagnosed, I took what I had learned, as well as input from others, and developed unique and practical gifts. That is when Better Days Designs, Inc was started.

We are committed to providing patients and those that love them with useful gifts and we welcome your suggestions and feedback. See Contact Us page.

We are also committed to keeping jobs here in the US. All items are handmade with love in the USA by Ministries and Agencies in Kentucky as well as Work-at-Home Mom's, Grandma's and Students. So, not only will your purchase help you or those you love, but it will help those who sew the items.

Donations

Better Days Designs donates 10% of the proceeds to help cancer patients through research, support and programs. The list of recipients is reviewed regularly and may change.
