Beginnings Artisans Cooperative -
Louisville ministry to Nepalese refugee
women. The women and their families were
recently relocated to Louisville from refugee camps
in Nepal. They lived in sparse bamboo homes in the
refugee camp for 18 years, the result of ethnic
persecution. To help the refugees become more
independent and to provide for their families we
have begun a micro-enterprise business which
consists of sewn, knitted and crocheted items.
